Some of these polish options last for several days while others more than a week. 1. Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Fast Nail Color: $4.00
We begin our list of affordable nail polish options with a line at the top of our price rage. Sally Hansen has a few different lines of nail polish. We really like the Insta-Dri polish. It has a variety of great colors in metallic finish, super bright colors, and matte colors. One coat will give you the color you seek and the coverage you need. It does, indeed, dry pretty fast. So, precision is key. The bottle contains 0.4 fl. oz of polish. Pronto Purple is one of our favorite colors in this line.
2. Piggy Paint: $3.98
Piggy Paint is a great alternative to the smelly nail polish. These duo packs have two small bottles of complementary colors; each bottle contains 1 fl. oz. of polish. Piggy Paint nail polish is non-toxic, odorless, and hypoallergenic. The Glamour Girl & LOL color duo is pretty.

3. Salon Perfect Nail Lacquer: $3.98
If you are looking for super bright nail color then this line is probably for you. The price is right for these full size bottles of rich vibrant color. Each bottle contains 0.5 oz of polish. Traffic Cone is our favorite! The color is so bright it could glow in the dark, but it doesn’t.
4. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength: $3.98
When I saw this polish at the store it was the bottle design that caught my eye…then the color and the price. The coverage is nice, but I needed two coats to achieve full color saturation. The bottle claims a “No Chip Nail Color.” While almost none are immune to chips over time, I did not experience any the week I wore it. The bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. Fuchsia Bling Bling is our current favorite of this line.
5. Milan High Speed Fast Dry: $3.97
This polish dries fast! So, apply with caution. It boasts that one coat nail formula which we have tested and found to be true. The bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. The Fresh Teal color is a reminder of both spring and winter.

6. Revlon Nail Enamel: $3.97
The Revlon brand has some wonderful color choices. The full size bottle contains 0.5 fl. oz. of polish. We love the Radiant nail color; it has loads of sparkle. We love it! We got the desired color and sparkle with one application.
7. Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro Nail Lacquer: $3.77
This is a great polish. The brush is wide and covers nicely. I used two coats to achieve full rich color. The liquid covers well and leaves a smooth finish. The colors in this line are vibrant and the price is right. The brand claims “up to 10 day streak free color and shine.” The bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. If you like pinks we recommend Posh Pink.
8. Maybelline New York Color Show: $2.97
I am in love with this line. The color variety, lasting coverage, minimum application, and smooth finish are wonderful. The bottle contains 0.23 fl. oz. of polish. If you like orange try Orange Fix. This color is like a vibrant tangerine.
9. Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant Glossitinis: $2.97
This tiny little bottle packs a punch of color! You can get full rich color with one coat application. The colors are all named for a different cocktail. Each bottle contains 0.11 fl. oz of polish. We love them all but Bahama Mama is a nice, cool color to add to your collection.
10. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Extreme Wear Nail Color: $2.48
Sally Hansen has done it again with this line. There is a nice variety of colors, including glitter and metallic tones. The brush is not very wide and I had to use two coats to achieve the desired color, but it was worth it. Once applied and covered with a topcoat this polish met my one-week requirement, and then some. The bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. We like the Rockstar Pink color.
11. Sinful Colors Professional: $1.98
This polish is a little thick, which is great. The thickness goes on smoothly and dries quickly with a smooth shiny finish. The colors are rich after one coat. Each application lasts a long while. Each bottle contains 0.5 fl. oz of polish. We really like the wonderfully bright pink color: 24/7.
12. Pure Ice Nail Polish: $1.97
Pure Ice has loads of lovely colors. Whenever I think of this brand I recall the pretty pastels and iridescent peal-like colors. The line also has quite a few dense and rich color options. This is a two coat color but well worth it. Each bottle contains 0.5 fl. oz. of polish. Our favorite of this line is French Kiss. Don’t let the name fool you, this is a dark and radiant blue, almost navy but not quite.
13. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails: $1.97
These little bottles pack a punch of vibrant color. The line claims that the color has “added protection against chipping, cracking and splitting” for healthier nails. I love the Sally Hansen brand because my nails always feel healthier and grow fastest when I use it. Each bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. We really like the Limestone color of this line. We needed to use two coats to achieve the desired look.
14. NYC Color in a New York Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish: $1.72
This line has color that applies smooth and dries quickly. All you need is one coat to get good coverage. The color lasts for several days without cracking and chipping. This bottle contains 0.33 fl. oz. of polish. We love Precious Peacock! There are tons of colors to choose from.
15. Wet N Wild Fast Dry Nail Color: $1.68
You will need two coats for this line. The label states that “one coat dries in 60 seconds” and it does, sometimes a little less. It has a wonderful manicure brush that will cover a broader area quickly. The colors in this line are named for a popular television show. Each bottle contains 0.46 fl. oz. of polish. We really like the Gray’s Anatomy color.
16. Wet N Wild Megalast Salon Nail Color: $1.68
This is another bottle that caught my eye. It’s cute. The colors are rich and the price is right! I applied two coats and it lasted about a week. And you do, indeed, get “salon quality color” with this product. Each bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz of polish. Our current favorite is Undercover.
17. Rimmel London 60 Seconds: 1.50
The bottles are kinda small but you will get a few two-coat applications out of one bottle. In other words, the small bottle lasts a while. The polish is rich but requires two coats. Each bottle contains 0.4 fl. oz. of polish. We like the Sweet Lavender color.
18. BonBons: 98 Cents
These mini bottles are fabulous for a quick color change. You will only get one use out of them. That is great if you are in a hurry to change or want to try a color before buying a larger, more expensive option. Each bottle contains 1/8 fl. oz. We like Purple Glitter.
19. Wet N Wild, Wild Shine Nail Color: 93 Cents
Wet n Wild has loads of colors and is known for its affordable options. Don’t let the tiny price fool you; this nail color lasts about a week and the color options are great. You will need two coats to achieve the desired color. Each bottle contains 0.43 fl. oz. of polish. We really like Sunny Side Up.
20. NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel: 93 Cents
I love the color options of this line. This is definitely a go to option for a last minute, budget friendly color change. The colors are a fantastic deal for the money. You will need two coats but the color dries fast and lasts a few days. Each bottle contains 0.45 fl. oz. of polish. We are really diggin’ Rock the Party.
21. Petites: 68 Cents
This last suggestion really surprised me in a good way! The Petites brand doesn’t have the wide array of color options like other brands but the colors it does offer are lovely! I was surprised as how rich the liquid is and how well it covers. I only needed one coat to achieve the desired color. Each bottle contains 0.25 fl. oz. of polish. We like the Passion Orange.
There are so many brands of nail polish that offer color options priced at $4 and less. These are just a few of them. The prices reflected in this post may vary at your local store.
