I think that if this is what people want to do they should do it. But I still have my opinion and I have to agree with Ashley, it's so tacky looking. Imagine walking in to a job interview with this, in sure no one will take you seriously.

This isn't even what the trend was. It started because artists could make it look 3d or like it's underwater, like those chunky rings you get as a kid. It was for shows and contests not everyday wear. But thein people wanted them and most artists don't know how to do the underwater effect so you just get really thick nails. I wouldn't even say it's a trend, I've seen less than 15 total pictures of it. Not my thing, but it was really cool seeing the ones at the competitions.

@MayaKae2 couldn't agree more, yikes I tried the little diamonds on one finger, for a change and um, nightmare, hard to wash my hair, caught on my sweaters...carefully snipped them off...never ever again...what was I thinking, lol
