Every girl needs some easy nail care tips. Brittle nails can be split, cracked or chipped due to many reasons like aging, frequent exposure to water or chemicals, long-term of usage of nail polish or its remover, dry environment etc.
Also, brittle nails can be a symptom of many health problems like psoriasis, anemia, fungal infections etc.
Don't worry, there are many natural remedies available for treating your dry, cracked or split nails and thus make your nails strong and shiny. Use these remedies daily.
I use a skin clipper instead of regular nail chopper because its easier to shape my nails. Sometimes I buff them to make them even. Here are some more easy nail care tips for you.
1 OLIVE OIL
Soak your nails in warm olive oil for 15-20 minutes. Then massage the nails in a circular motion.
2 HONEY and LEMON
Take 2 tsp honey add 4-5 drops of lemon. Mix it well. Massage your nails with this mixture. Leave it on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse and dry your hands. Apply moisturizer to seal in the moisture.
3 VASELINE and OLIVE OIL
Take a container or a piece of paper. Put Vaseline and 2-3 drops olive oil and mix it up. Apply the mixture to your cuticles and nails. Massage it into your skin. Let sit for 3-5 minutes. Rinse off.
4 VITAMIN E OIL
Take some vitamin E capsules. Prick and squeeze out the oil. Collect 1 tsp of vitamin E oil and drop 2 - 3 drops of tea tree oil. Massage your nails with the oil for 5-10 minutes
5 LEMON+OLIVE OIL
Squeeze ¼ lemon into 2 tsp of olive oil. Mix together. Keep nails in the mixture for 10 minutes, then wash.
