5 Greatest Nail Care Tips for Your Most Beautiful Nails Yet ...

I'm here with the best care tips for beautiful nails. When it comes to perfecting a health and beauty regime, one of the trickiest areas to master is definitely nail care. Sure, we all know what colours of polish we like, and we have all learnt the different ways that allow us to paint them most effectively, but what about the actual health of the nail as well as the aesthetic beauty? Unfortunately, quite often, too much of a focus on the decoration can lead to problems with the health of the nail and the surrounding skin, so it’s important to be aware of just how you can make sure that everything in that department stays as healthy as possible. To help you achieve this perfection, here are five of the best care tips for beautiful nails.

1

Clean and Exfoliate

We are really good at cleaning and exfoliating our faces, but not so much our nails. The skin around your nail beds is constantly shedding cells through everyday wear and tear, and this can accumulate to clog pores around that area just like on your face. You can exfoliate around your nails using a little bit of soap and a toothbrush, scrubbing gently to dislodge and remove all of the dead cells. This is definitely one of the best care tips for beautiful nails.

2

Dry Them out

It’s important to take the time to dry out your nails completely rather than leaving them wet or moist. When water accumulates under your nails, it can create an environment that is perfect for breeding germs and possible infection. You can make sure everything is bone dry underneath by using a cotton ball or bud to get amongst the little gaps and crevices.

3

Regular Clipping

You need to prioritize nail health over nail length. There is no benefit from growing long nails if they are going to be unhealthy. In the same way that it is good to trim your hair every now and then, it is also good to trim your nails every now and then to encourage them to grow stronger.

4

Lukewarm Washing

Don’t blast your nails with too hot or too cold water, lukewarm is just fine. Too vast a temperature difference between your nails and the water can encourage things like softness, brittleness and bacteria and germs.

5

Don’t Punish Your Cuticles

No matter how tempting it is to pull and pick at the little pokey bits in your cuticles, pulling them out will only cause more damage. You will expose yourself to things like infection and dried out nails.
