Prevent Smudges

Spray your nails with cooking oil to prevent smudges.

UPD:

To prevent smudges when polishing nails, many people turn to cooking oil. This is a great way to keep your nail art looking perfect and avoid those pesky smudges. The oil helps to keep the polish from sticking to your skin or other surfaces, making it easier to create a flawless manicure.

To get the best results, apply a thin layer of cooking oil to your nails before you begin polishing. This will help the polish to slide across the nail without smudging. After you’ve finished polishing, you can remove the oil with a cotton ball or a soft cloth.

When it comes to choosing a cooking oil, it’s best to opt for an oil with a light texture, such as olive oil or avocado oil. These oils will help to keep your nails looking glossy and healthy, while still providing the necessary protection from smudges.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to protect your nails from smudges, you can also try using a clear top coat. This will provide a thin layer of protection, helping to keep your polish looking neat and tidy.

Soak your nails in white vinegar and water before you paint your nails for longer lasting color.

UPD:

Nail soak is an effective way to make sure your nail polish stays on for longer. This technique is especially useful when you’re going for a bright, bold color or a complicated nail art design. To do a nail soak, you should mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Then, soak your nails in the mixture for about five minutes. This will help remove any oils and other substances that can prevent the polish from adhering to your nails.

Once you’ve finished soaking your nails, you should dry them off with a soft towel. This will help make sure that your nails are completely dry before you start applying the polish. After you’ve dried your nails, you can begin the polishing process. Make sure to use a base coat to prevent the nail polish from staining your nails. Then, apply two coats of your chosen nail polish.

Once you’ve finished painting your nails, you should apply a top coat to help protect your nails from chipping or peeling. This will also help keep your nails looking shiny and vibrant for longer. Finally, you should finish off your nail look with a cuticle oil or cream to keep your cuticles hydrated and healthy.

Nail whitening is an easy and inexpensive way to give your nails a bright, clean look. It's a great alternative to harsh chemical treatments and can be done in the comfort of your own home.

To whiten your nails, you'll need to combine a few simple ingredients. Start with hot water, then add hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. You'll also need a bowl large enough to submerge your nails in.

Once the ingredients are mixed, soak your nails in the solution for about a minute. After that, you can use a nail brush to scrub away any dirt or discoloration. Rinse off the solution with warm water and dry your nails with a soft towel.

Dab the first coat of glitter polish instead of brushing it on to help evenly distribute glitter.

UPD:

When applying glitter polish, it is important to use a dabbing motion instead of brushing it on. This will help to evenly distribute the glitter and prevent clumping or uneven coverage. Additionally, using a base coat before applying glitter polish can help the glitter adhere better and make it easier to remove later on. For a more intense glitter look, consider using a makeup sponge to dab the polish onto the nails, creating a gradient effect. It's also important to wait for each coat to dry completely before adding another layer, to avoid smudging or smearing the glitter. Finally, seal the glitter polish with a top coat to help it last longer and prevent chipping.

glow sticks are actually toxic and should not be placed anywhere near the skin

Slap on polish anyhow, over cuticles, fingers etc. wait for nails to be dry and then WASH UP! Yes, you heard right, washing up will cause any polish on skin to flake off and leave you with perfect nails.

Ah. I was excited about the glow stick nails but two comments saying it doesn't work. Oh well. As far as Sally Hansen products. I don't buy any of them anymore.... The last thing I bought was to harden my nails... It was so think and heavy it just clumped all over them. Everything I buy from them stinks.
